Often botanical extracts are grown in a place where the best conditions are for optimal nutrient density. Where land tenders have worked with the plants for generations. Processing, manufacturing and storage can all take place in many different locations across the globe before they ever reach a formulators hands.

It is our intention to map this journey and these locations in an effort to share the stories of the land and the people. And to create transparency in the supply chain. Often a raw oil will be listed as made somewhere, say, in California, when in fact, after quite some digging, one finds out it is actually grown in Spain.

Sourcing with integrity has its challenges, but current trends and new technology are easing this effort. Showcasing the footprint often renders one more humble and aware. More present and less wasteful.
